Job Description
Eatons ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Maintenance A 2nd shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $27.85 per hour.

What youll do:
Job Summary
Perform work involving maintenance skills to install repair and maintain machines mechanical equipment or structure of the facility.
Job Responsibilities
Identity the cause and complete the repair of unexpected breakdowns.
Troubleshoot electrical/electronic hydraulics pneumatics mechanical and building components on industrial equipment plant wide and have basic knowledge of PLCs and controls.
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines.
Fabricate new and/or replacement metal parts for equipment.
Prepares reports documenting work performed.
Cleans organizes inventories stocks and otherwise maintains shop areas parts tools and supplies.
Qualifications:
Education level required
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or College Degree in related field of study preferred.
Years and area of experience required
3 to 5 years years relevant job-specific experience required.
Technical knowledge Required
Required
Be able to read & interpret part machine hydraulic & electrical schematics.
Proficient in using a multi-meter.
Fundamentals of electricity up to 3 phase 480v plumbing pneumatic systems and hydraulics.
Experience in the following: Electro-mechanical work Variable frequency drives welding Pneumatic controls Inventory management Air Compressors Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance and Conveyor systems.
Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
Understanding of servo motors encoders drives PLCs and controls.
Skills:
Must be able to prioritize assignments according to business needs.
Excellent planning organizational communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
