Position: Network Engineer 4
Location: Staunton VA (24401)
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the Transportation Operations Center. The ideal candidate will be adept at addressing network support requests managing network resources and enhancing cybersecurity measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to Tier 1-3 network support requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Design and configure network hardware and communications infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation and inventory records.
- Support cybersecurity efforts and threat mitigation initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Cisco Routing and Switching (5 years)
- VLAN Management (5 years)
- Network Design (5 years)
- Routing Protocols (BGP OSPF etc.) (5 years)
- VPN & Remote Access Technologies (5 years)
