JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Cabinet Finisher I
LOCATION: Dallas TX
PAY RATE: $24.50/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Learn and perform basic technical skills related to aircraft cabinet finish processes under direct supervision
-
Gain familiarity with regulatory requirements tools and equipment used in the Cabinet Finish Shop
-
Develop proficiency in preparing and finishing furniture using sanding materials polishes adhesives solvents and masking products
-
Use the material tracking system to create parts requests track discrepancies (squawks) and sign off completed work
-
Follow all safety procedures 5S and housekeeping policies; use personal protective equipment (PPE); ensure protection of the aircraft interior (PTP)

Assist in the development and implementation of process improvement and safety initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Experience in woodworking wood finishing or auto body and painting in a technical environment preferred
-
Completion of a technical certificate in cabinet making or participation in a current-year youth apprenticeship program in a related field preferred

Must be able to read write speak and understand English

Must be computer literate
-
Able to climb ladders and stairs work in confined or restricted areas lift up to 40 lbs and work any shift
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
