JOB TITLE: Aircraft Upholstery Technician I
LOCATION: Savannah GA
PAY RATE: $23.31/hour

Summary:
-
This is an entry-level position for candidates interested in aircraft interiors.
-
Fabricate and install upholstery cover panels and create simple patterns based on engineering drawings and specifications.
-
Use of commercial sewing machines sergers or hand tools related to upholstery or carpet trades
-
Perform upholstery tasks according to design FAA and specifications
-
Fit and install panels headliners sidewalls bulkheads and windows
-
Cut surge and install carpet; create carpet patterns per design drawings
-
Fabricate and install metal parts and various interior components
-
Utilize material tracking system to create parts demand record issues and sign off work
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED require
-
Proficient in English (reading writing speaking comprehension)
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents
-
Skilled in using measuring tools and performing basic math
-
Basic computer literacy
-
Physically able to climb ladders/stairs work in confined spaces lift up to 40 lbs and work any shift
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
