Job Title: Production Expediter (AS9100/ISO & ITAR Trained Required)

Client is seeking a Production Expediter who is already trained in AS9100/ISO standards and ITAR compliance to support our fast-paced manufacturing environment. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor the Expediter plays a critical role in maintaining a smooth production flow by managing the movement and tracking of parts throughout the backend operations of the plant.
This is a hands-on floor-level position ideal for someone who understands lean manufacturing principles has sharp attention to detail and is committed to supporting on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Transport parts across the facility using hand trucks or other manual material handling equipment.
Interpret and follow shop routers to ensure parts are moved through the correct workstations.
Maintain an accurate understanding of the production layout and flow of operations.
Use handheld scanners to scan jobs in and out of processing areas for real-time tracking.
Ensure that designated In Areas are clear of stagnant or misplaced inventory.
Assist in inventory verification and cycle counts (Parts Count Training will be provided).
Move incoming materials to their appropriate processing or storage locations.
Support continuous improvement by identifying and eliminating production flow bottlenecks.
Perform additional duties as directed by the Production Supervisor.
MUST be trained and familiar with AS9100/ISO quality standards and ITAR compliance.
Minimum of 1 year of stable work history in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred.
High school diploma or GED required (may consider strong candidates with relevant experience).
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to read understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be detail-oriented and able to work indeClientdently with minimal supervision.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking throughout the shift.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Willing to work swing shifts weekends or alternate schedules as needed.
Familiarity with aerospace defense or precision manufacturing environments.
A proactive deClientdable and team-oriented mindset.
Ability to quickly adapt to changes in workflow or priorities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
