Job Description
Client Note: Were not looking for deep OCI expertise - 1 to 2 years of experience is fine. The priority is someone confident with WebLogic and Linux administration & scripting ideally with prior exposure to Oracle ERP environments.
Key Focus Areas (per client feedback):
- #1 Priority: Strong WebLogic administration and tuning experience
- #2 Priority: Solid hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX system administration and shell scripting
- #3 Priority: Basic working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - 1-2 years is sufficient
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Cloud & Middleware SME with hands-on experience across WebLogic administration Linux system operations and foundational understanding of OCI to support enterprise-grade cloud and middleware solutions. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the stability performance and scalability of Oracle-based environments.
Core Responsibilities:
Middleware & WebLogic:
- Administer configure and tune WebLogic SOA Suite and Tomcat environments
- Perform WebLogic clustering upgrades and deployment support
- Troubleshoot and resolve application server issues in high-availability environments
Linux / UNIX Administration & Automation:
- Maintain and harden Linux/UNIX servers (RHEL CentOS)
- Write and maintain shell scripts (Bash Korn) for automation and system tasks
- Perform patch management performance tuning and server optimization
- Support SSH key renewals install across OCI Postfix and middleware layers
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI):
- Basic administration of OCI Compute Storage Networking and IAM
- Provision and manage OCI components for integration with Oracle ERP modules
File Transfer & Mail Server Setup:
- Set up and manage SFTP FTPS SCP Rsync and AS2 protocols
- Configure and monitor Postfix Mail Server manage SMTP Relay SPF/DKIM and mail queues
ERP & Integration Support:
- Provide PaaS support for Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials Procurement HCM SCM)
- Support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for web services (SOAP/REST) and process automation
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Azure administration (VMs networking storage SFTP)
- Hands-on with Terraform Python or other infrastructure automation tools
- Exposure to Oracle DB (19c/23ai) and basic database performance tuning
