Job Description

Job Title: SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

Location: Tamarac FL(Onsite)

Job Type: Direct Hire

Required experience and background 1. Confirm required vs. preferred skills. 2. Inquire if any flexibility to hire at a different level for the right candidate. An electronics background is a plus. SQE - a few years of manufacturing experience and engineering experience supporting a manufacturing environment. Supplier Quality Engineer experience up to 50% travel - traveling to suppliers 95% domestic. We are changing our supplier base and will be bringing on new suppliers. We need to onboard suppliers. PAP is implemented in the evaluation process

Qualifications:

B.S. in relevant engineering field required (Mechanical Industrial etc.)

Up to 50% travel required

Experience visiting and auditing suppliers required

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification a plus

Strong understanding of quality core tools (process flow PFMEA control plan etc.)

Lean Certification a plus

Trained Auditor a plus

SAP system in a manufacturing environment a plus

Experience with Lean material management and SAP software a plus

Kaizen event leadership and coordination experience a plus
