Job Description
Position: Travel MRI Technologist
Term: Contract (13-week assignment with potential extension)
Location: Winchester OH
Pay Rate: $62.44/hour
Weekly Pay Breakdown:
- Taxable Wages: $1240
- Nontaxable Stipend: $1240
- Total Gross Weekly Pay (based on 36 hours): $2480
Shift: 4x10s First Shift 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified MRI Technologist to join a dynamic team in Southern Ohio. This is a travel contract role ideal for professionals looking to take the next step in their imaging career.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment utilizing pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
- Perform magnetic resonance procedures image processing and related techniques for interpretation by a Radiologist or licensed independent practitioner.
- Maintain professional judgment and ethical demeanor at all times.
- Provide quality patient care recognizing and responding appropriately to various patient conditions.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or MRI education program
- Current ARRT Registry in MRI (or registry-eligible with completion required within one year of hire)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification for Healthcare Providers
- Current Kentucky Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License
Must-Haves:
- Radiologic technology education background
- Active ARRT certification
- Valid BLS certification
- Kentucky state licensure in medical imaging
