Cardiovascular Technician Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: Cath Lab
Schedule: 4 Days/Week (10-Hour Shifts)
Shift Hours: 07:00 AM 6:30 PM Monday to Friday
Weekly Hours: 40
Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year in a Cath Lab or Interventional Cardiology Setting
Athena Medtech is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiovascular Technician to join our Catheterization Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in supporting physicians during interventional cardiology procedures including pacemaker and AICD implantation and electrophysiological ablations.
Key Responsibilities-
Prepare patients and operate hemodynamic and electrophysiological equipment during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Assist physicians with pacemaker implants AICD implants and ablation procedures.

Accurately register patients by entering service data and verifying medical histories.

Provide a welcoming and reassuring environment for patients responding to questions and requests with professionalism.

Support cardiovascular diagnostic services by completing electrocardiograms (EKGs/ECGs) and treadmill stress tests.

Ensure proper electrode placement and monitor readings during testing to assist with accurate diagnoses.

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a cath lab or electrophysiology setting.

Proficient in the use of cardiac diagnostic and interventional equipment.

Certification in cardiovascular technology preferred (RCIS or RCES a plus).

BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Strong interpersonal technical and problem-solving skills.
