Job Description
Registered Nurse Women & Infant (LDRP) Night Shift
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: Women and Infant Unit
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts/week Monday to Friday 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Hours Per Week: 36
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in LDRP
Certifications: BLS and NRP required
Position Type: Full-Time / Traveler
Athena Medtech is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Women & Infant Unit specializing in Labor Delivery Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) care. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of LDRP experience and a commitment to providing high-quality family-centered care during the childbirth process.
Key Responsibilities:-
Implement and evaluate individualized care plans for patients across labor delivery recovery and postpartum stages

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery

Accurately document patient assessments interventions and responses

Serve as a central point of coordination among multidisciplinary care teams

Execute physician and nursing orders in a timely and precise manner

Support patient education discharge planning and emotional support for families

Active RN license in good standing

Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP experience

BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required

Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond swiftly in emergent situations

Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
