Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and organized Medical Assistant to join our gynecology team. The ideal candidate will support gynecologists with patient care assist with exams and procedures and handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and prepare patients for gynecological exams
Take and record vital signs and medical history
Assist during pelvic exams Pap smears and minor procedures
Maintain clean stocked exam rooms and sterilize instruments
Schedule appointments and manage patient records
Provide patient education and instructions as needed
Translate conversations and instructions for Spanish-speaking patients
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred
Prior experience in OB/GYN or women s health is a plus
Strong communication and empathy skills
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems
Preferred
Spanish-English speaking professional
