Job Description :
Receiving and Verifying Stock:
- Ensuring accurate counts and quality of incoming jewellery including checking for any damage or discrepancies.
Maintaining Accurate Records:
- Keeping detailed records of all jewelry movements including storage locations and quantities often using inventory management software.
Optimizing Storage and Display:
- Ensuring jewelry is stored securely and displayed effectively to attract customers and minimize theft.
Conducting Regular Audits:
- Performing physical counts of inventory to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
Monitoring Stock Levels:
- Tracking sales trends and customer demand to predict future needs and ensure sufficient stock is available.
Reordering Stock:
- Placing orders with suppliers or manufacturers to replenish inventory based on demand and sales forecasts.
Managing Returns and Repairs:
- Handling the return of damaged or unwanted items and managing the repair process for damaged jewelry.
