ABOUT THE ROLE
Provide PC software installations printer peripherals Logitech Teams collaborative meeting spaces and wireless/wired networking support applicant must have experience supporting workstations peripherals printers and basic networking. Engineer will not configure the routers switches and firewalls but should understand how to request changes from VITA and their management. Experience providing general end user PC support training and questions with a friendly and supportive demeanor Travel 3-4 times a week including at least one day of overnight travel during overnight stays the state travel policy will be followed. Position will be 40 hours a week but may have a flex schedule to avoid significant overtime for travel overtime must be approved prior. Contractor will have to have the vehicle maintained using the state fleet services process This position may be replaced with an FTE in the July 2026 timeframe. This contractor is welcome to apply and be considered for that FTE position but will be required to go through the standard recruitment process with COV.
