About:
Growing plaintiff personal injury law firm seeking a skilled and driven Litigation Associate with a passion for trial work. This is a high-upside position where your performance and trial outcomes will directly impact your professional growth and compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take an active role in trial preparation and trial work-ideal candidate will have experience arguing motions preparing witnesses and handling all aspects of trial advocacy.
- Conduct thorough legal research and drafting including oppositions to motions for summary judgment motions in limine and insurance coverage issues.
- Prepare and conduct detailed depositions of corporate and individual witnesses crafting effective outlines and gathering crucial facts.
- Collaborate with senior trial lawyers on strategy client communication and high-stakes litigation.
- Manage your own caseload and ensure cases are trial-ready.
- Seek out opportunities to expand your litigation skills and embrace the challenge of trial practice.
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing in MA. RI and other neighboring states is a plus.
- 3 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience with proven trial exposure.
- Demonstrated skill in research writing and oral advocacy particularly in motions practice.
- Detail-oriented approach to deposition preparation and execution.
- Strong work ethic accountability and passion for advocating for injured clients.
