Job Description

About:

Growing plaintiff personal injury law firm seeking a skilled and driven Litigation Associate with a passion for trial work. This is a high-upside position where your performance and trial outcomes will directly impact your professional growth and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take an active role in trial preparation and trial work-ideal candidate will have experience arguing motions preparing witnesses and handling all aspects of trial advocacy.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and drafting including oppositions to motions for summary judgment motions in limine and insurance coverage issues.
  • Prepare and conduct detailed depositions of corporate and individual witnesses crafting effective outlines and gathering crucial facts.
  • Collaborate with senior trial lawyers on strategy client communication and high-stakes litigation.
  • Manage your own caseload and ensure cases are trial-ready.
  • Seek out opportunities to expand your litigation skills and embrace the challenge of trial practice.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing in MA. RI and other neighboring states is a plus.
  • 3 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience with proven trial exposure.
  • Demonstrated skill in research writing and oral advocacy particularly in motions practice.
  • Detail-oriented approach to deposition preparation and execution.
  • Strong work ethic accountability and passion for advocating for injured clients.
