Job Description
Job Title: Test Engineer Component to Vehicle-Level Testing
Location: Palo Alto CA & Long Beach CA
Employment Type: Contract (with potential for full-time conversion)
Industry: Automotive / Electric Vehicles
Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced Test Engineers to plan execute and analyze structured and exploratory testing across component subsystem and vehicle levels for electric vehicle programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development teams to define test requirements.
Develop and execute test plans and procedures.
Set up test environments and instrumentation.
Monitor test execution identify issues and analyze data.
Document results report bugs and support test automation efforts.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience in automotive IoT or electronics testing.
Familiarity with structured (DVP&R) and exploratory testing.
Proficiency with tools like dSpace Vector Python scripting.
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Experience with CAN LIN Ethernet UDS SPI I2C protocols.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
