Position Summary:
Seeking a Polysomnographic Technician to assist in conducting comprehensive sleep studies and related interventions under the supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or clinical director. This role supports the delivery of high-quality patient care and plays a key part in diagnostic testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare calibrate and operate sleep study equipment

• Apply and monitor electrodes and sensors according to protocols

• Perform sleep studies including PSG CPAP BiPAP MSLT and MWT

• Monitor and document sleep stages patient behavior and clinical events

• Assist in titration of positive airway pressure devices

• Educate patients on procedures and equipment usage

• Maintain accurate documentation patient charts logs and supply inventory

• Support administrative tasks (answer phones schedule appointments file records)

• Assist in equipment maintenance and sterilization

Qualifications:

• Certificate from an accredited School of Clinical Polysomnography required

• RRT/CRT preferred

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a respiratory therapy or sleep lab setting preferred

• Current BLS or CPR certification

• Strong knowledge of respiratory function and sleep study protocols

• Participate in staff meetings ongoing education and departmental initiatives

• Maintain attendance punctuality and professional conduct
