Job Description
Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Albany NY
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Proven experience serving as a Lead Software Architect and Tester driving both system design and quality assurance efforts.
- Extensive background working in Agile development environments leading the design and implementation of complex integrated J2EE-based Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) systems. Responsibilities included project planning task management team mentorship productivity tracking quality assurance status reporting and hands-on development using Java and JavaScript.
- Strong expertise in Test Execution and Defect Management including executing functional test cases analyzing failures logging and managing defects and ensuring process compliance using tools such as Micro Focus ALM MasterCraft and JIRA.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines utilizing scripting languages including JavaScript Java VBScript and C in conjunction with automation tools like Selenium.
- Proficient in Version Control and GitHub management including overseeing repository structure implementing Git branching strategies enforcing CI/CD processes and managing security protocols to ensure efficient and secure development workflows.
- Experienced with a broad range of testing tools such as Micro Focus ALM UFT and LoadRunner with a focus on functional and performance testing of web services within SOA environments. Strong foundation in Agile development methodologies.
- Skilled in writing advanced SQL queries for data validation and integrity checks. Expertise in handling complex relational database queries particularly those involving cross-component transaction management.
- Holds a Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering.
