Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is for a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist in Fortuna California. The technologist will perform a variety of CT exams including those with and without contrast and will also be responsible for performing x-rays. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience though first-timers may be considered. Weekend work is required.
Location: Fortuna California United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing all types of CT exams with and without contrast.
- Performing x-rays of extremities abdomen/GI spine/pelvis head chest/thorax and musculoskeletal systems.
- Performing fluoroscopy studies (preferred).
- Performing enema studies (preferred).
- Assisting with surgery/C-arm procedures (preferred).
- Working every weekend.
- Floating between units as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARRT CT certification.
- ARRT R certification.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum two years of experience (exceptions possible).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Fluoroscopy experience.
- ACLS certification.
Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is mandatory.
- Floating between units is required.
- Block scheduling may be accommodated per manager discretion.
- The facility allows for one call-off per two-week pay period.

Scheduling:
- Full-time position.
- Weekend work required.
- Shift assignments and block scheduling are at the managers discretion.
