Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is for a CT Technologist at a 151-bed community hospital. The technologist will perform a variety of CT scans including general scans biopsies/drains cardiac imaging radiation treatment planning and scans for research utilizing GE and Siemens scanners. The role requires weekend availability (Saturday Sunday and Monday) and a minimum of two years of experience.
Location: Huntersville North Carolina United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing various CT exams (general scans biopsies/drains cardiac imaging radiation treatment planning research scans).
- Utilizing GE and Siemens CT scanners.
- Working with adolescents adults and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Administering IV starts and contrast.
- Performing multiplanar reconstruction.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Documenting patient care appropriately within the Electronic Medical Record (Epic and McKesson).
- Participating in corporate and facility orientations.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Experience with adolescents adults and geriatrics.
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient settings including ER and Adult ICU.
- Proficiency in IV starts and contrast administration.
- Experience with various CT procedures (Abdomen Pelvis Head/Neck Chest Spine Musculoskeletal Aspirations/Biopsies Colonography CT Arthrography Drainage CTAs).
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (CT) certification.
- Proficiency with EPIC and McKesson systems.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with neonates pediatrics and infants.
- Level I Trauma experience.
- Experience in a community hospital setting.
- Experience with biopsies and myelography.
- Radiation therapy planning experience.
Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is mandatory (Saturday Sunday and Monday).
- 36-hour (12-hour day shifts) work schedule 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
- 13-week contracts accepted.
- No call requirement.
- No float requirement.
- Return-to-office (RTO) after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation.
- Unit orientation: 1 day of corporate orientation (Epic training) and 3 days of facility orientation.

Scheduling:
- 12-hour day shifts (06:30 - 19:00).
- Saturday Sunday and Monday work required.
- 36 hours per week.
- 13-week contracts are accepted.
