Job Summary:
This role is for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in a vascular operating room (OR) setting within a tertiary care hospital. The position requires a 12-hour day shift (7 AM - 7:30 PM) with on-call responsibilities. Vascular experience is mandatory and CST certification is required unless the candidate has worked as a tech in NY before 2015. First-time travelers and travel pairs working different schedules are acceptable but local candidates (within 75 miles) are not considered.

Responsibilities:
- Performing surgical technologist duties in a vascular operating room.
- Assisting the surgical team during vascular surgical procedures.
- Preparing the operating room and sterilizing instruments.
- Maintaining a sterile field during surgery.
- Handling and passing surgical instruments and supplies to the surgeon.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and assisting with patient care as needed.
- Charting in Epic.
- On-call responsibilities (details to be discussed during interview).

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular surgery (or equivalent experience for non-CST).
- Proficiency in surgical techniques and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
