Job Description
Overview
A Production Associate is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations throughout the door components manufacturing process. Production Associates are cooperative and willing to apply their skills in a variety of venues by regularly rotating positions to achieve success. Working safely is a key skill needed in this position.
What you will need:
- No experience needed
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Safety toe shoes
What you will do:
- Duties include everything from sweeping and cleaning to sorting and stacking to learning the ropes of the Machine Operator job.
- Take pride and great care in checking quality for every order you help fill for our customers.
- Assist Machine Operators
- Take full ownership of your work area and work to achieve Total Quality Management
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Be able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in a standing position for 10-hour shifts
- Lots of energy for walking squatting crouching turning twisting stretching grabbing pulling pushing bending etc. in a fast-paced high-volume production environment
- A focus on safety around operating machinery
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Excellent attendance must be reliable and punctual
