Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Location: Grenada Mississippi
Job Description:
- Assembly Line Rebalancing: Analyze current assembly line processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Develop and implement strategies to rebalance lines for optimal performance.
- Continuous Improvement (CI): Lead CI projects using TPS principles to drive process improvements reduce waste and enhance product quality.
- Process Development: Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products and modifications to existing products ensuring alignment with zero-defect and low-cost objectives.
- Standardized Work Methods: Develop and maintain standardized work methods and process documentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely completion and alignment with business goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design quality and production to prioritize and implement improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role with a focus on assembly line rebalancing and CI initiatives.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of TPS and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in process analysis and improvement techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g. Solidedge SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally required to sit climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
