Job Description
Job Title: Informatica CDI/CAI Developer
Location: Vancouver BC (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Developer with hands-on experience in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and optimizing cloud-based data integration solutions ensuring seamless data flow between on-premise and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement data integration solutions using Informatica CDI for batch and real-time processing.
- Build and manage API-based integrations and event-driven workflows using Informatica CAI.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT mappings transformations and task flows within the IDMC platform.
- Connect to and integrate data from various source systems (on-premise and cloud) to target data warehouses/applications.
- Perform data profiling quality checks and ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and application integration issues.
- Collaborate with data architects business analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed integrations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 years of hands-on experience in Informatica CDI and/or CAI.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing principles.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Experience with API concepts (REST/SOAP) and web services.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Informatica IDMC certifications (CDI CAI).
- Experience with Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
- Knowledge of DataOps DevOps and CI/CD best practices for cloud data integration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Shell) for automation.
