Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
- CloudFormation and the Serverless Framework; coding is a daily responsibility.
- Write code to build and manage AWS-based infrastructure that supports scalable secure and highly available systems.
- Collaborate with software engineers to design cloud solutions that align with application architecture.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Automate operational processes and platform services with reusable tested code.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure all infrastructure is secure and auditable by design.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices and a coding-first approach to platform engineering.
Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills are required; experience in languages such as Python Java or C# is essential.
- 5 years of experience building and maintaining infrastructure in AWS environments.
- Deep hands-on experience with container orchestration using ECS or EKS.
- Solid foundation in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform required; CloudFormation and Terragrunt also a plus).
- Experience managing observability stacks (monitoring alerting logging).
- Ability to write reusable modules pipelines and automation scripts that scale across teams.
- Experience with or other reusable IaC module frameworks is strong plus.
- AWS certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer) are advantageous.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field preferred.
