Job Description
Join our dynamic team at the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and eCampus and play a key role in supporting innovative online teaching and learning. We are looking for a motivated individual to collaborate with faculty develop interactive course materials and provide first-level support for online and hybrid learning environments. The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is dedicated to promoting a culture of learning through effective teaching practices deeper student engagement and fostering university-wide partnerships. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a key support role providing direct assistance to faculty developing engaging high-quality online course materials and managing faculty requests and communication within the department. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our online and hybrid learning environments. The right candidate will join our team of creative motivated and highly-skilled designers and support professionals in a collaborative innovation-centered work environment.
To excel in this role the ideal candidate will bring a collaborative spirit and a passion for supporting effective teaching and learning. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and a willingness to learn new technologies are highly valued. Strong communication skills and an ability to work effectively with instructors and colleagues are essential. Were looking for someone who is detail-oriented adaptable and eager to contribute to a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field and one year relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Position Details:
This position is located on the UAF campus in Fairbanks. This is a full-time on-campus non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary andfull employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options annual leave 12 paid holidays per year tuition waivers for employees and family members and affordable medical dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on theUA Staff Salary Schedule Grade 78 based on education and experience.
