JOB SUMMARY Senior SAP PP consultant responsible for providing expertise in implementing configuring and maintaining SAP PP module to optimize production processes. Job involves understanding customer requirements analyzing existing systems and recommending solutions using SAP PP module such as setting up Work Centers Equipments Production Order management BOMs MRP Forecasting and integration with FI/CO QM and MM areas. Collaboration with stakeholders to gather business requirements design solutions customize configurations and conduct testing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
- Provide expertise on SAP PP process setup.
- Ability to read and debug ABAP codes is a plus.
- Hands-on work on SAP interfaces with CPI is a plus.
- Work with SAP Analytics development team for inputs on Technical Specifications.
- Work with the integration team to build and test SAP integration with 3rd party tools.
- Prepare Functional Specifications.
- Work with ABAP development team for inputs on Technical Specifications.
- Prepare test data for unit and system integration test.
- Prepare and execute test scripts for unit and system integration tests.
- Resolve defects if in scope.
- Work on system issues through Tickets and resolve issues within SLA.
- Work with both onsite and offshore teams.
- Work with Business and IT resources for any clarifications to meet project deliverables.
- Cross functional leading ability across SAP and non-SAP teams
Perform additional duties as required to support the departments effective operation. QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelors degree required.
- Ability to analyze project requirements and understand complex concepts.
- Self-motivated and takes initiative.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies tools & processes.
- Strong communication skills. Needs to effectively and proactively communicate with all involved parties.
