Quality Technician
Troy Innovative Instruments is a medical device and defense contract manufacturer seeking a skilled inspector to join our team. If you are a team player who is looking for a home where the environment is positive and personal and professional growth is encouraged we look forward to meeting you.
Basic Requirements:
- Must be able to do in process and final inspections to meet print specifications.
- Use of measurement equipment including but not limited to: micrometers calipers comparator gauges Mahr height gage optical comparator profilometer laser mic etc.
- Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Must be able to complete inspection records and work order documents as required
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 13485 highly preferred including good documentation practices.
- Understanding of FAI First Piece approvals and in process inspection methods.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- CMM operation experience preferred
- Vision System operation experience preferred
- Calibration knowledge preferred
- Gagetrack knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime.
1st Shift - Monday through Friday - 8 hours
2nd Shift - Monday through Thursday - 10 hours
Pay is based upon skill and experience. There are timely performance reviews.
