About the role
A new opportunity has arisen at Marist180 for a House Manager to join our Residential Care programs in Orange. Reporting to the Area Manager of Residential Care the House Manager will oversee the daily operations of the residence ensuring a safe culturally appropriate and healing environment for children and young people.
This is a hands-on role with most of your time spent on-site in the home or within the community. This is a Permanent Full-Time position offering the benefits of salary packaging.
As a House Manager you will lead a dedicated team of residential support workers providing purposeful support to young people with high and complex needs in residential care. You will work to enhance their lives in a 24/7 residential setting incorporating a therapeutic trauma-informed approach into daily routines and structured programming. A key aspect of the role is guiding your team to offer a secure base for the young people within the home while liaising with culturally appropriate services and fostering opportunities for the young people.
Primary accountabilities of the role of House Manager include but are not limited to:
The role will require to participate in the on-call roster (roughly 2 times a year for one week each).
