These positions are in the Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD) of DCHS. The incumbents will serve as members of the BHRD Information and Data Systems Team(BIDS) and willact as a liaison between end-users information technology analysts and vendors in helpdesk support functional analysis design configuration testing and aid the Information System Architects in the maintenance of applications to ensure optimum system performance. They will collect analyze develop document communicate business requirements support system users and assist with system testing to achieve business goals. Functional Analysts continually seek opportunities to increase customer/client satisfaction deepen relationships and effectively manage customer/client expectations. This requirement will be used to fill up to 3 career-service Functional Analyst II positions.

WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONS:This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. It meetsthe provisions of the Fair Labor StandardsActandis overtime eligible with supervisory pre-approval.


MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUS:This position has been designated Mission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive department director or agency head all employees regardless of designation are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. TELEWORKING REQUIREMENT:The work associated with this position will be performed or conducted through a combination of teleworking on-site work and meetings. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. To respond to workplace reporting requirements employees must reside in Washington state and be within a reasonable distance of their King County worksite.
