Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories
  • Generate new project ideas for categories based on strategic analysis by challenging existing portfolios and collaborating with external suppliers and internal business and operations
  • Perform spend contract and market analysis for assigned categories
  • Conduct bid events prepare bid analysis and make sourcing recommendations
  • Works closely with factories engineering R&D and broader procurement teams while driving results and challenging internal and external stakeholders
  • Generate materials in support of presentations workshops and negotiations
  • Provide necessary inputs for supply agreements and monitor compliance
  • Manage supplier performance
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to procurement processes and policies
  • Stakeholder communication and management
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Deliver challenging productivity goals and create pipeline of projects
  • Capacity planning and business continuity plans
  • Ensure Supplier Quality Expectations compliance
  • Support innovation projects through the commercialization process

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required (Supply Chain Ag / Economics Finance or Engineering desired)
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of research commodities and/or procurement experience required
  • Coffee experience and/or knowledge preferred but not required
  • Outstanding analytical skills (statistics economics cost modeling)
  • Organizational skills (handling workload and complexity)
  • Ability to interface with a wide variety of business situations and all levels of management trade groups conventions etc.)
  • Negotiations and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel and PowerPoint

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$102100.00 - $127600.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors
