Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories
- Generate new project ideas for categories based on strategic analysis by challenging existing portfolios and collaborating with external suppliers and internal business and operations
- Perform spend contract and market analysis for assigned categories
- Conduct bid events prepare bid analysis and make sourcing recommendations
- Works closely with factories engineering R&D and broader procurement teams while driving results and challenging internal and external stakeholders
- Generate materials in support of presentations workshops and negotiations
- Provide necessary inputs for supply agreements and monitor compliance
- Manage supplier performance
- Ensure adherence and compliance to procurement processes and policies
- Stakeholder communication and management
- Supplier relationship management
- Deliver challenging productivity goals and create pipeline of projects
- Capacity planning and business continuity plans
- Ensure Supplier Quality Expectations compliance
- Support innovation projects through the commercialization process
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required (Supply Chain Ag / Economics Finance or Engineering desired)
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of research commodities and/or procurement experience required
- Coffee experience and/or knowledge preferred but not required
- Outstanding analytical skills (statistics economics cost modeling)
- Organizational skills (handling workload and complexity)
- Ability to interface with a wide variety of business situations and all levels of management trade groups conventions etc.)
- Negotiations and influencing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in MS Office Excel and PowerPoint

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$102100.00 - $127600.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors
