Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Candidate must be board certified or active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty trained and board certified or active candidate for certification in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

Teaching responsibilities may include clinical training and supervision of medical students residents and fellows and participation in formal teaching curriculum.

Clinical responsibilities may include clinical and surgical treatment of women with the full range of pelvic floor disorders.

Candidate would join established Urogynecology practice in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties including New Jersey.
