Under the direction of the Office of Student Services and Chief Operating Officer the Part-time Summer School Administrator will be responsible for all 11 month academic program activities during the 2024 Summer learning period: July 1 - August 2nd.
Responsibilities include:
Support faculty and staff within the 11 month academic programs during the summer learning period July 1 - August 2nd.
Collaborate with the Department of Special Education to support effective implementation of special education SEI and other specialized services to students including IEPs and 504 plans.
Develop and implement effective structures to promote and support community building and effective respectful communications and relationships among students faculty staff and parents.
Work collaboratively with the summer program leaders and building administrators with regard to matters involving the safety health and welfare of students use and care of facilities and consistent implementation of building-wide and district policies and objectives.
Meet regularly and maintain effective communications with summer program leaders and district administrators to assure a consistently high quality standards-based educational program.
Schedule:
July 1 - August 1 2025; (Summer Program Dates) 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
MinimumRequirements:
Masters degree in educational leadership educational administration or equivalent major.
Certification: Massachusetts DESE: Principal/Assistant Principal 5-9 or K-8 or demonstrated work toward certification.
Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent interpersonal oral and written communications and administrative skills with proven ability to establish high educational standards and positively motivate staff towards assuring academic excellence for all students. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across a broad range of diverse constituencies.

July 1 2025 through August 01 2025
Contract Amount:
Not to exceed $12000.00
Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non-exemptemployee and have worked more than 40 hours a week you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours.
