Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Environmental Engineer to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team in Berkeley MO.
Position Responsibilities:
Knowledge/expertise in areas of hazardous waste RCRA CERCLA waste prevention/ minimization and regulatory reporting
Supports the development implementation and monitoring of environmental management systems processes and programs
Works with others to assess the impact of emerging environmental issues on company operations
Supports site interface with state and federal regulatory agencies and environmental reporting
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
1 years experience in Environmental Engineering
1 years experience interacting directly with state and federal regulatory agencies
1 years experience with environmental compliance spill response and water quality
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree from an accredited course of study in environmental engineering environmental science environmental management biology or chemistry
Experience with environmental compliance and/or regulations
Hazardous Waste shipping experience
Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
