Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for immediate hire to join our warm safe and friendly team.
Location: Augusta GA
Job Type: 14-Week Contract

Pay: $37-38/hour depending on experience and unit worked

Summary
As a Respiratory Therapist at ATC Healthcare you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care across various settings. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and contribute to their respiratory health while enjoying the flexibility of per diem contract or travel assignments.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and proper medication usage.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Perform diagnostic tests to assess lung function and oxygen levels.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is required.
- Certifications: ACLS BLS CRT NRP RRT
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and critical care practices is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
