Job Description
GEA is seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Project Coordinator to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and information across our supply chain. This multifaceted position will be responsible for coordinating various supply chain projects maintaining the integrity of master data proactively identifying and mitigating risks to material flow and coordinating activities related to licenses and product costing. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills a keen eye for detail excellent communication abilities and a solid understanding of supply chain principles.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning execution and monitoring of various supply chain projects ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans schedules and documentation.
- Facilitate project meetings track action items and follow up on progress.
- Communicate project status and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate project-related issues and risks in a timely manner.
Master Data Management:
- Ensure the accuracy completeness and consistency of supply chain master data (e.g. material master vendor master customer master).
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Coordinate data cleansing and validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain data standards.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Risk Mitigation for Material Flow:
- Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the material flow process.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor key supply chain metrics to proactively identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with procurement Exim logistics and production teams to address material flow challenges.
- Contribute to the development of contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
License and Product Costing Coordination:
- Coordinate the acquisition renewal and management of necessary licenses and permits related to supply chain operations.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data for product costing calculations.
- Support the development of cost optimization initiatives within the supply chain.
- Maintain records of licenses and product costing information.
ERP Setup and Maintenance:
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of the ERP system modules related to supply chain.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Any Graduate with 5-10 years of relevant experience in project management
