Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for a Molding & Extrusion Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations for our Extrusion Injection MOlding and Maintenance Departments at our Colorado Springs location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES:
Followsall employee guidelines and Quality Systems Regulations (QSRs) as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that customer requirements and FDA (or equivalent) regulations are met.
Demonstratesknowledge and actsin accordance with NMTs Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMTs Quality Manual.
Oversee the hiring orienting and training of technical production employees to ensure a competent workforce
Designs and implements plans for the effective use of material and labor resources to achieve manufacturing target
Monitors team efficiency and productivity
Conducts assessments to identify mechanical and procedural limitations that minimize work efficiency
Supervises the operations of manufacturing personnel to ensure a manufacturing process is within budget and time schedule while meeting all quality requirements
Conducts studies and research to discover a more effective approach to production
Oversees the regulation of work shifts to ensure proper workload distribution
Monitors the team to ensure operations are in compliance with health and safety standards
Coordinates workflow with Assembly to meet delivery schedule
Schedules the maintenance of production equipment and machines to ensure efficient operations
Analyzes and provides solutions to manufacturing challenges or problems
Works with the quality assurance department to ensure product quality and specifications are consistent
Learns and understand Molding processes
Monitors and controls production processes to adjust operations in the event of a problem
Abides by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Proven leadership experience.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in a Medical Device Manufacturing environment preferred.
The ability to manage manufacturing processes to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
Adept at coordinating the different stages of manufacturing to ensure seamless operations.
Excellent oral/written communication and people skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to influence for results in a cross-functional organization.
Ability to provide change leadership and accelerate change.
Strong cross-functional team facilitation skills.
Project management skills.
Ability to perform in fast paced environment
The established Compensation for this position will be $60000to $75000 per year (paid on a bi-weekly basis) depending on qualifications and experience.
