Lead HBM Machinist / CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist - Nights
HBM Machinist / CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist needed for precision machining and repair of rotating equipment using large-format manual and CNC machines including HBMs lathes and VTLs. Involved in designing and fabricating custom tooling for turbine and compressor jobs in a fast-paced high-mix environment.
HMB Machinist / CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist will ideally have strong manual and CNC skills including HBM and VTL operations with a proactive and collaborative mindset.

HBM Machinist / CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist
Role
Read and interpret technical drawings to guide precise machining and assembly
Set up and operate manual mills lathes HBM and CNC machines to manufacture/refurbish critical rotating components
Design build and test custom fixtures and tooling tailored to complex part geometries
Lead fast-paced turnaround projects ensuring tooling solutions meet tight deadlines
Collaborate with engineers rotor technicians and field service teams to develop and optimize solutions
Maintain troubleshoot and perform preventive upkeep on machining equipment
Assist in standardizing and documenting best tooling processes across sites
HBM Machinist / CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist
Requirements
Proven experience as a machinist in a rotating machinery or custom job-shop environment
Skilled in manual machining (lathe mill drilling) and comfortable with horizontal boring mills and VTLs; CNC experience is highly valuable
Ability to design/custom-build tooling from concept through to implementation
Strong blueprint reading metrology and precision focus
Experience working on large heavy-duty components such as turbine shafts compressor rotors or casings is a plus
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
