Job Description
Lower Merion School District is seeking Special Education Teachers atHarriton High School. Both long-term substitute and contract positions available.
PA Certification in Special Education required additional certification(s) preferred (Math English ReadingSpecialist certification) and Autism Endorsement Certificate preferred; 3-5 years teaching experience preferred; Experience supporting students with significant behavioral academic and functional needs related to Autism preferred. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students and experience working with students with various types ofeducational disabilities required. Good standing relative to Act 48 credits. Applicant must have Act 34 and 151 clearances and FBI registration number.
Out-of-state educators should explore PAs reciprocity guidelines set by the PA Department of Education. Pennsylvania Certification information is available at positions will beavailable for the 2025-2026 school year. Salary and benefits set by LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
