Job Description
1st Shift Material Handler
- This position is eligible for a $500.00 hiring/retention bonus!
- $100 Monthly Perfect Attendance Award
- Off at NOON every FRIDAY!
- Hours:M-Th 6:00am - 3:15pm Fri 6:00am - 12:00pm
- Starting Pay:$15.50/hour
Summary:
Serve as a materials resource in all phases of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities/ Principal Duties:
- Receive and inventory all incoming shipments.
- Verify & document all parts; enter into MRP system.
- Stock all incoming materials in their proper locations.
- Prep components to customer specifications.
- Perform scheduled cycle counts and inventories of material.
- Package final assembled product for shipment.
- Pre-Kit parts for SMT scheduled assemblies.
- Load SMT feeders as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Work is performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting standing and frequent bending stooping and stretching. Qualifications

Education:High School Diploma or GED
Experience:Two years experience in a material handling position. Will train the right candidate who does not have the preferred experience.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with requires prolonged sitting standing and frequent bending stooping and stretching and lifting of materials.
Equipment:Knowledge of and skills in the use of counting equipment (counting scales and reel counters) and various component prepping machines.
