As we continue to grow we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Security Manager to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.
Senior Security Manager:
The Data Center Senior Security Manager is responsible for providing overall direction and leadership for security operations across a portfolio of multiple locations. This position will support and execute physical security programs initiatives processes and best practices to build a safe and secure environment. The Senior Security Manager will build strong cross-functional partnerships across the data center teams and the client by communicating security goals achievements and opportunities to both the data center teams and the client fostering a culture of safety and security.
This position is responsible for overseeing security operations across multiple sites leading Security Supervisors and providing subject matter expertise.
Wage: $80000k $100000k with a 10% bonus
Responsibilities:
Provides overall leadership and strategic direction for security operations across a portfolio of multiple locations ensuring consistent and effective execution of security initiatives at all sites.
Develops and enforces standards and procedures across all sites aligning local practices with Global Physical Security strategies and ensuring adherence to business conduct and integrity standards employee safety and security Salute and Client procedures and protocols and achieving a high standard of performance at all levels.
Ensures that all assigned personnel across the account maintain up-to-date required certifications including but not limited to Guard Cards to meet operational and compliance standards.
Regularly communicates updates to senior leadership site teams and key partners on incidents emerging risks and other issues that may impact data center operations employees or vendors across the security portfolio.
Establishes and monitors performance metrics to determine effectiveness of security operations across the account including budget management performance measurement and contract compliance.
Oversees and supports the delivery of security training coordinates security services to support planned and unplanned operations and supports comprehensive incident investigation.
Required Qualifications:
7 years of experience leading security operations at multiple sites or managing large security teams.
Valid Guard Card
Successful completion of a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Proven ability to plan organize and motivate high-performing teams across diverse security environments.
Experience developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Effective presentation skills in both formal and impromptu settings.
Experience with emergency procedure protocols regulatory compliance and government interfaces.
Knowledge of physical security strategies principles standards policies and procedures.
Experience managing and implementing security technologies including Video Surveillance Access Control Incident Management Systems and Security Operations Centers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certifications
Safety & Security management experience in a Data Center environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 40lbs.
Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments
Ability to bend stoop kneel and reach for equipment related tasks
Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
Ability to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
Clear vision with or without correction to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs labels and cables
Ability to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facility
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme temperatures rain or snow
Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
Possession of a valid drivers license for work-related travel as required
Travel Requirements:
Up to 25%
