Backup Driver/Warehouse Associate

We have a great opportunity to join our Driver and Warehouse Team at our Hudson WI branch. This on-site role is Monday - Friday 4am - 12pm and involves pulling and loading orders making local deliveries and providing dependable service to both internal teams and external customersall while supporting company goals and helping maintain strong long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities Include:

• Pick fill and pack orders on a timely basis to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries and transfers
• Load and unload materials and trucks
• Safely utilize power equipment including mechanical lift or vehicles when necessary to fulfill orders and restock warehouse shelves
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized including disposal of leftover packing materials. such as wooden crates pallets and cardboard
• Maintain accurate inventory management and take inventory of materials shipped or received. Refill primary bins using proper procedures and minimizing open boxes
• Receive and process incoming stock and materials
• Deliver products to customers in the absence of FT driver
• Communicate with other departments and branches regarding order status or inventory issues. Work in a team environment to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience and/or Training

• 1 year working in a team environment
• Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with team members
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Ability to work safely and accurately
• Ability to safely and effectively operate powered equipment such as forklift and stock chaser
• Strong math skills (addition subtraction multiplication) and reading skills
• 2 years in a warehouse setting working with power equipment and pulling orders preferred
• 1 year warehouse experience including working with an RF Scanner a forklift and wire cutting preferred

Licenses/Certificates

• Valid US Drivers license
• Clean driving record
• Pass the DOT physical
