Description

This is a temporary position.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to lead and execute revenue digital initiatives across cross-functional teams. This role involves end-to-end project planning and execution budget and resource management and proactive risk mitigation to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to align objectives and drive strategic outcomes. Strong analytical skills are essential for tracking performance metrics generating insightful reports and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of revenue management principles exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A strong problem-solver with a dedication to continuous improvement consistently enhancing tools systems and processes to drive operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure timely rollout of Discount Governance systemwide
  • Responsible for coordination amongst Headquarter Continent & Communication teams
  • Coordinates launch of new discipline initiatives
  • Oversee expansion of StratAgent AI tool
  • Facilitation and tracking of Demand Gen call and activities
  • Ad-hoc requests as needed
  • Develop detailed project plans manage project lifecycles and ensure projects stay on track.
  • Manage project budgets allocate resources and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives and ensure buy-in.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks ensuring projects are completed successfully.
  • Analyze data track project performance and report on key metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of projects.
  • Contribute to developing or improving current tools systems and processes.
  • Strong project management skills including planning execution and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles and best practices.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.

Building Successful Relationships

  • Acts as a liaison when necessary between property and regional/corporate systems support.
  • Develops and manages internal key stakeholder relationships.
  • Provides targeted and timely communication of results achievements and challenges to all stakeholders.
  • Promotes the working relationship between sales marketing reservations and property management systems.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Marriott Revenue Management experience to include MARSHA and One Yield
  • Data analysis skills including Excel. SQL Tableau and Excel pivot table skills are beneficial.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Team player: builds strong relationships and collaborates with stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to take explain complex information in a clear concise and complete manner
  • Teamwork Ability to work both independently and as part of an effective team.
  • Building Credible Relationships; Demonstrates self-confidence and capable of building credibility among peers.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues products systems and processes.
  • Understands and meets the needs of key stakeholders (Manager hotels regional team).
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to influence; advocates sound financial/business decision making.
  • Approximately 5% travel
  • Performs other duties as assigned

CANDIDATE PROFILE - KEY TALENTS AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED

Education and Experience

A degree in a relevant business discipline preferred or demonstration of equivalent work experience.

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Finance and Accounting Economics Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major; and prefer 2-year experience in the revenue management sales and marketing or related professional area.

OR

4-year bachelors degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Finance and Accounting Economics Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major; and prefer 2 years experience in the revenue management sales and marketing or related professional area.

The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $71.63 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
