Description: Shawsheen Valley Technical High School is seeking a highly organized proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant to the Director of Data Assessment and Admissions. Under the direction of the Director of Data Assessment and Admissions the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Data Assessment and Admissions will coordinate logistics data-management and communication for admissions educator professional development tracking and educator licensure. This individual will also support the student registration process scheduling and MCAS logistics. The ideal candidate will have exceptional oral and written communication skills serving as one of the primary contacts for students families and sending school districts throughout the admissions process. This is a calendar-year position with an 8-hour work-day from :Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced to effectively communicate both orally and in to handle projects and daily routines without supervision and with excellent in Microsoft Office 365 (Word Excel Outlook etc.) and comfort with digital communication tools such as Aspen and oriented ideally with experience maintaining and tracking statistics with accuracy. High level of accuracy in data entry and to work independently prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects with minimal verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with students families and professionalism discretion and ability to handle confidential information in compliance with experience in a school setting or related administrative role Responsibilities:Support all stages of the admissions process including application tracking communication with families and sending districts scheduling placement exams and maintaining accurate records in Aspen and enter manage and update student staff and program-related data for admissions licensure MCAS and professional development tracking including assisting with compiling reports and maintaining statistical as a primary point of contact for students families and school personnel regarding admissions registration and assessment. Ability to communicate and respond to inquiries with professionalism clarity and with logistical planning and implementation of MCAS and other assessments including student rostering room assignments material preparation and communication with accurate records of educator professional development hours and licensure status. Clearly communicate with staff to ensure timely submission of required with the annual student registration process and support the scheduling of incoming and current students. Communicate with administrators department heads school counselors and others to ensure schedule all communications and records are handled in accordance with confidentiality laws and FERPA to work collaboratively with others including other administrative assistants staff and Microsoft Office 365 Aspen Go2CTE and other digital platforms for document creation communication and data $49965 - $65395 per year commensurate with experience.
