You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Buyer/Planner is responsible for managing the material flow to meet customer orders while balancing cost production and inventory. Additional responsibilities include: providing a production schedule that meets demand with the overall objective of maximum customer satisfaction lowest cost of production and control of inventory to optimize turns and purchasing of raw materials in the most cost-effective manner with due consideration for price quality specifications and other general requirements.
Essential Accountabilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management Supply Chain Management or related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in production scheduling / purchasing experience in an MRP II system. APICS certification preferred.
Desired Skills
Experience in purchasing/production scheduling and/or general materials planning experience in an ERP system
Knowledge of manufacturing and production planning
Sound knowledge of varied production and quality assurance operations
Fundamental understanding of ERP requirements and processes
