Position:Physical Therapist - Pediatrics- Marshalltown IA
Location: 55 Unity Pt Wy SUITE 70 Marshalltown IA 50158
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Compensation:starting at $73000

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a pediatric Physical Therapist to join our fun collaborative multi-disciplinary team!
We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from sensory processing emotional regulation developmental delay cerebral palsy genetic disorders autism spectrum disorders feeding disorders visual motor deficits and more.

Responsibilities
- High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how PTs may practice and whom they may supervise.
- Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
- Leadership: Supervise and delegate physical therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations.
- Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and complete patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements.
- Innovative Opportunities: Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines.
- Best Practices: Stay current and up to date with Physical Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB clinician expertise patient perception).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year pediatric outpatient physical therapy experience (stong clinical rotation in pediatrics if current student finishing rotations)
- Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited PT school
- Valid State Physical Therapist License
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
Preferred Qualifcations:
- 2 years of pediatric outpatient experience
