Job Description
Role:Security Officer (Unarmed)
Location:Hotel in Avon CO
Shift & Schedule:Overnight (10:00pm - 6:00am) Part Time (16 HRs/Week)
Pay:$23-25.00/HR
Requirements:
Reliable transportation
Hospitality experience HIGHLY PREFERRED!
Join our team as an Overnight Hotel Security Officer in Avon Colorado ensuring the safety and security of guests staff and property throughout the night. This role requires vigilance professionalism and strong customer service skills to handle security concerns enforce hotel policies and provide assistance as needed. Ideal candidates are proactive adaptable and thrive in a calm yet responsive environment maintaining a strong security presence while delivering exceptional guest support.
Job Functions
- Security Presence & Defense: Serve as the first line of defense for clients guests and site
- Hazard Awareness: Identify and address safety concerns as they arise
- Risk Assessment: Conduct ongoing risk evaluations
- Access Control: Manage access to restricted areas and information in the lodge
- Guidance: Direct and assist guests visitors and staff.
- Customer Service: Deliver positive interactions with a pleasant and helpful demeanor to guests and staff alike
- Collaboration: Work with local law enforcement and other security personnel to maintain highest safety standards
- Incident Response:Respond to client security concerns and reports of incidents
- Incident Documentation: Record and report all security and safety incidents and concerns
Requirements
- Employment Eligibility: Provide 2 forms of ID and eligibility/authorization to work in the US
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Attitude: Maintain a calm professional and customer service-oriented demeanor
- Language Skills: Fluent in English speaking reading/writing. Spanish is a bonus
- Screening: Ability to pass a urinalysis (site dependent) and criminal background check
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work
- Tech Literacy: Basic technology skills and ownership of a working smartphone and accessible email account
- Physical Ability: Can stand sit walk jog crouch bend over and carry 50lbs in a variety of weather conditions and work environments
$23 - $25 an hour
