Salary Range: $15.85 Per Hour
Hours: 35 Per Week

Overview:

In partnership with the Hunger Task Force ( CommonBond is excited to offer a free Summer Meal Program at Florist Gardens in Milwaukee! From June 23 2025 to the end of August meals will be available for Florist Gardens residents as well as the general public. Step into a leadership role as a Resident Experience Coordinator at Florist Gardens Summer Meal Site. In this position you will provide general assistance while also leading and guiding to ensure a smooth and successful meal distribution process. As a resident experience coordinator you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive environment for residents and contribute to the mission of Florist Gardens in promoting dignity respect and inclusiveness for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with delegating tasks & ensuring everyone is working effectively & cooperatively.
• Offer support and answer questions from volunteers providing guidance and clarifications when needed.
• Foster a positive & inclusive atmosphere by promoting teamwork respect & effective communication among volunteers
• Collaborate with staff members to address any issues concerns or challenges that may arise.
• Help maintain & ensure orderly flow during meal distribution guiding participants to food lines eating areas etc.
• Interact with residents in a friendly & respectful manner providing assistance & answering questions.
• Wipe down eating tables after someone leaves to prepare the spot for a new participant.
• Work with staff in encouraging Florist Gardens residents to participate in meal service.

Time Commitment:

• 7 hours per day 35 hours per week
• Meals provided: June 23 through August 29.

• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks delegate responsibilities and ensure smooth operations.

• Patience empathy and a friendly demeanor when interacting with residents.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle unexpected situations or changes in the meal distribution process.
• Complete an application pass a background check and attend a virtual orientation.
