Job Description

Join our team at Keolis Amey Metrolink (KAM) the largest light rail network in the UK!

Come and join our People team we are recruiting for a Recruitment & L&D Coordinator on a 12mth fixed term contract. You will roll your sleeves up and initially support with recruitment followed by L&D providing a support service to the wider business and both recruitment and the L&D teams.

The role will offer you lots of variety and opportunity to develop and grow your recruitment and L&D knowledge as no day will be the same. There will be opportunity to change the way we do things and take the lead on process improvement projects.

Recruitment Manage the recruitment mailbox and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) advertise vacancies on multiple platforms shifting CVs coordinating interviews scheduling assessment days and supporting the offer and onboarding process. You will play a key role in the candidate experience throughout the application and onboarding process.

L&D Manage the L&D mailbox maintain accurate employee training records in the LMS system coordinate trainee invites room and training bookings and requirements. You will play a key role supporting the trainers with any adhoc admin support collating learners feedback to enhance learning programmes.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Manage and respond to day-to-day queries in the recruitment inbox within SLA
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and coordinate candidates being moved swiftly through at each stage of the process
  • Maintain record keeping and interview notes in line with GDPR
  • Support the candidate experience throughout the application and onboarding process
  • Support with offers and onboarding for new starters. This includes right to work in the UK documentation is accurate issuing the offer via DocuSign and supporting managers in preparing for their new starter to join the team
  • Support advertising our vacancies across multiple platforms to attract the best talent on the market and we are seen as an employer of choice
  • Assist with recruitment - shortlisting scheduling interviews and assessment days
  • Maintaining data to ensure accuracy as data feeds into dashboards for period reporting
  • Provide first line advice and guidance on queries and escalate if required
  • Support process improvement projects for the ATS to create an awesome candidate and manager experience
  • Manage and respond to day-to-day queries in the L&D inbox within SLA
  • Maintain employee training records within the LMS system
  • Coordinate room and training bookings working with the trainers on requirements
  • Track training attendance and collate feedback data
  • Coordinate guest speakers and new starters are booked onto the corporate induction new starter programme
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external training sessions workshops and employee development programmes

What youll bring:

  • Previous experience in a recruitment HR or L&D administrator role
  • Proficient in working with either an ATS LMS or HR software
  • Good IT skills - Microsoft Office Suite such as Outlook Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Know your audience delivering excellent customer service
  • Flexible approach and able to adapt to meet the needs of the business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong multitasking and coordination skills
  • Willingness to learn and bring new ideas or ways of working
