Senior Programme Manager
Were the @one Alliance a ground-breaking collaboration between Anglian Water and seven industry-leading partners: Balfour Beatty Barhale Binnies MMB MWH Treatment Skanska and SWECO. Together we deliver over half of Anglian Waters capital investment programme.
As we prepare for AMP8 our most ambitious period yet well be delivering an even broader range of innovative and environmentally-driven infrastructure projects from urban drainage to nature-based solutions like constructed wetlands
To ensure we can outperform against the Anglian Water business plan we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Programme Manager to join us and lead on our Water Recycling projects across the region responsible for the delivery of a capital investment programme.
What will you be doing as our new Senior Programme Manager
Youll be accountable for all aspects of delivery from project inception through design and construction to commissioning and handover of the finished asset.
Furthermore youll have a strong people-centric approach ensuring the right culture and behaviours are implemented and people feel motivated to achieve and develop their careers within our dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the Head of SHEA to lead and manage an industry-leading SHEA strategy implementation and performance for the business.
- To implement and comply with the @one alliances SHEA policy and procedures and all legal requirements therein including correct competence training for staff to deliver site work.
- Ensure successful delivery of each project and portfolio whilst delivering compliance to all performance criteria.
- Manage the commercial and financial performance of the business unit including annual budgets forecasts and financial controls.
- Drive the team to significantly outperform Anglian Water targets on carbon and take a leading role in sustainability improvements linked to climate change and six capitals in the business.
- Outline and implement the business and delivery plans for the business in conjunction with the overarching @one alliance business plan and strategy.
- Develop implement and maintain exceptional relationships across Anglian Water the alliance partners and the supply chain to create transparency and trust.
- Develop lead and manage the Infrastructure Management team to become digitally enabled innovative and sector leading; having the customer in mind in all that we do.
What were looking for
Youll bring:
- Proven track record in programme management within large infrastructure environments
- Experience of managing large programmes of work c70-90m a year
- Strong commercial awareness leadership experience and stakeholder influencing skills
- Passion for driving sustainable measurable change
- Tier 1 contracting experience
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across multiple workstreams
- Ability to develop compelling business cases and track delivery of benefits
Desirable:
- Experience with recycled water or water-sector assets
- Change leadership experience across digital people or systems programmes
- Familiarity with regulated utilities and capital investment cycles
