As a Senior I&E Designer at Burrow Global you will operate under detailed instructions and review providing essential technical knowledge and performing tasks to support our services. As an employee you will gain hands-on experience in the development and execution of I&E designs.

- This position aims to design and perform the layout of a complex scope and may serve as the Design Area Lead.
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to complex problems by organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
- Prepare 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of advanced complexity.
- Develop and review specifications including design criteria.
- Review drawings and vendor equipment documentation of advanced complexity within and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements and actively seek discrepancy resolution.
- Supervise development and checking of complex drawings including instrument index instrument location plans isometrics and sketches.
- Develop estimates and schedules progress reports and workforce forecasts.
- Provide guidance/assistance to project managers designers and Drafters.
- Perform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations.
- Adhere to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures.
Basic Job Requirements
- A combination of education and directly related experience equal to fifteen (15) years
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management coworkers clients vendors contractors and visitors.
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local state/province and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accredited two (2) year degree or global equivalent in technical field of study
- Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD MicroStation)
- Practical field experience
- Intermediate computer and software skills include word processing e-mail spreadsheets and electronic presentation programs.
